I made the top 20 artist list at Renderosity for his week.    Which is nice.   BUT if you take out all the NVIATWAS then I’m probably top 5.   But I shouldn’t be mean about it, a lot of people like Poser, some are even quite good at it.   I’m sure there’re a lot of people who don’t like Star Trek and/or Star Wars.   They’re wrong, but they’re out there.

I found a great painting of the Reliant and Enterprise at battle in the Mutara nebula and decided to recreate it in Carrara…

DAZ3D have graciously decided to buy my model outright.   That means a chunk of change upfront.   Christmas has come a few days early.   I’ll post a link when it goes live.

My latest render.  Looks like the same machine?  I changed a lot, but unless you get up REAL close, you probably can’t tell.   but in order to sell it, it had to be cleaned up a little.

I think it took almost as long to rename each part of this model to make it saleable as it did to make the model in the first place.    Normally my parts have names like “FrontSphere1”, but to sell it I have to say “PortSideGunBarrel”.   And then I rigged it to make it easy to rotate the engines and wheels.

As I was playing around, I rendered a version with a camouflage texture.

And here are the various images used in the product, which hopefully DAZ will put in their shop for me.
